- Madhya Pradesh’s first butterfly park has inaugurated at Gopalpur in Raisen district.
- The park is spread over three hectares of land.
- It houses 65 species of butterflies and nearly 137 plant varieties.
- It is expected to give boost to states eco-tourism.
- Butterfly parks are pollution-free spaces which do not have chemicals/pesticides and play an important role in conserving and breeding of butterfly species.
