- The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare will launch ‘Meri Policy Mere Hath’.
- It is a doorstep distribution drive to deliver crop insurance policies to farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY).
- The campaign aims to ensure all farmers are aware of all information on their policies, land records, the process of claim, and grievance redressal under PMFBY.
- PMFBY aims to provide financial support to farmers suffering crop loss/damage arising out of natural calamities.
- PMFBY has completed 6 years of its implementation.
- It was launched by PM Modi on 18th February 2016 at Sehore, Madhya Pradesh.
