- It is a single-stage liquid-fuelled missile.
- The Prithvi-II missile has a range of around 350 kilometres.
- It has a range of around 250 km-350km and can carry a one tonne payload.
- It is Developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under its Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP).
