- The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has notified the Ecomark Rules recently.
- It replaces the Ecomark scheme of 1991.
- The scheme will encourage the demand for environment-friendly products, promote lower energy consumption, resource efficiency and circular economy.
