Mozambique naval officers get training on Interceptor Boats from ICG

- A two-week training programme for Naval Officers and personnel from Mozambique by the Coast Guard Region HQ (East) has begun at Chennai.
- This was the first ever training for Mozambique Navy officers and personnel in India at Chennai on the highly versatile Indigenously built Interceptor Boat.
- This training was part of the International co-operation between the 2 countries in which the Indian government had agreed to donate 2 Interceptor Boats to the Mozambique Navy.
