Mukhya Mantri Tirath Yatra Yojna – Delhi

  • Delhi govt has announced the Mukhya Mantri Tirath Yatra Yojna that offers free of cost travel packages for five key religious circuits for senior citizens of Delhi.
  • To facilitate a seamless coordination for this scheme, Delhi Tourism Transportation Development Corporation Ltd (DTTDC) has signed a MoU with Indian Railways & Catering Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
  • The following 5 religious sectors have been selected for the Tirath Yatra Yojna:
    • Vaishno Devi-Jammu,
    • Vrindavan-Mathura-Barsana-Agra-Fatehpur sikri,
    • Haridwar-Rishikesh-Neelkanth,
    • Ajmer-Pushkar and
    • Golden Temple-Wagah Border-Anandpur Sahib.
