- IRU is a worldwide association of national cooperative organisations that is regarded as ‘Father of Cooperatives’, has 53 member organisations.
- Ms. Azad is a Global Coordinator of Cooperatives, a prestigious nomination by the World Farmers Organisation in Rome.
