- Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its approval for the continuation of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme for the next five years.
- Approval was given for the period from 2021-22 to 2025-26.
- Under it, the industrial & commercial organisations will train approximately nine lakhs’ apprentices.
