• The National Banana Festival 2017 is to be held at the Agricultural College and Research Institute here from July 21 to July 23.
• The festival, which is intended to encourage farmers, businessmen and exporters, and to attract investment for creating infrastructure to meet pre-harvest and post-harvest needs, will be organised by Union and State governments in collaboration with trade bodies, including Tamil Nadu Banana Producers’ Federation.
