- India’s first National Centre of Ageing commissioned at Guindy in Chennai.
- Ayush and Siddha medicines are also set up at the Centre.
- It also has orthopaedic care, ENT, geriatric care and rehabilitation rooms, including separate rooms for all the patients above 60 years.
