- National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) has been awarded the ‘Special Jury Award’ at the 7th India Industry Water Conclave and the 9th edition of the FICCI Water Awards.
- NMCG has been awarded for its effort in reviving River Ganga and bringing about a paradigm shift in water management.
- G Asok Kumar was appointed as the new Director-General of the National Mission for Clean Ganga.
