- This will be implemented for a period of four-years from 2020-21 to 2023-24 at an estimated outlay of ₹1,480 crore.
- Technical textiles are materials and products manufactured primarily for their technical properties and functional requirements.
- Examples are medical textiles (e.g., implants), geotextiles (reinforcement of embankments), agrotextiles (textiles for crop protection) among others.
