- India is celebrating 9th National Voters Day on 25th January 2019 for enhanced participation of citizens in the electoral process.
- The theme of this year’s National Voters Day (NVD) is ‘No voter to be left behind’.
- The Day is celebrated all over the country every year since 2011 to mark the Foundation day of Election Commission of India, which was established on 25th January 1950.
