- Nelloptodes gretae, a species of beetle, was named after Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish environmental campaigner.
- It was named by Scientists at the Natural History Museum in London.
- Nelloptodes gretae was first found in Kenya in the 1960s.
- It was later donated to the Natural History Museum in London in 1978.
