- Parliament of Nepal passed the first ever “Citizenship Amendment Bill” recently.
- The citizenship amendment bill was being discussed since 2020.
- It will amend the Nepal Citizenship Act 2006.
- This will make provisions to provide citizenship in line with the Constitution.
