- The millimetre-sized three-dimensional cellular structures that mimic specific organs of the body, called “organoids” or “mini-organs”.
- The “organ-on-a-chip” are AA-battery-sized chips lined with human cells connected to microchannels, to mimic blood flow inside the body.
