- Vaalbara fragmented to form other supercontinents over the years.
- Among that, the last was Pangea that was existed 335-65 million years ago.
- Vaalbara is the name of Earth's first supercontinent, in the Archaean era.
- There are 26 orogenies.
- Many of these are related to the formation of supercontinents.
- Orogeny is a mountain-building event that occurs in geosyncline areas.
