- Elcysma ziroensis, a new species of moth, has been discovered at Talle wildlife sanctuary in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh.
- The discovery of the Zygaenid moth was published in the Journal of Threatened Taxa, an international journal on conservation and taxonomy
- Its common name has been given as Apatani Glory, based on the community living in Ziro valley.
