New PDS shops to women

- Rajasthan government has decided to give 30 per cent of the new PDS shops to women.
- The decision has been taken by the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to empower the women in the state.
- The state has also approved an additional budget of Rs.11 crore to “Sahyog Evam Uphar Yojna”.
- In this scheme, there is a provision to provide financial assistance to the needy and eligible families for daughter's marriage.
