- They also discussed the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC).
- This is a freight corridor that connects India, Iran, and Russia.
- The goal of INSTC is reducing the time and cost of transporting cargo from Mumbai to Moscow.
- The INSTC agreement was originally signed in 2002 by Russia, Iran, and India and has since been expanded.
