- During the eclipse, the Moon will pass between the Sun and the Earth.
- In the parts of the Earth that are in the dark part of the Moon’s shadow will experience a total solar eclipse.
- But sometimes, the Moon is too far away from the Sun to completely cover the sun.
- When this happens, it is called an annular eclipse.
- Since the surface of the Earth is curved, eclipses can go from annular to total and vice versa.
- This is called a hybrid eclipse or Ningaloo Eclipse.
- The hybrid solar eclipse not visible in India.
