- UNESCO has recognised the “Nuad” Thai massage of Thailand as a part of its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
- The Nuad massage teachings focus on directing blood circulation around problem areas that help in solving muscle aches.
- The list was established in 2008 when the Convention for Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage came into effect.
