- OCEANS conference is a bi-annual event of global marine researchers.
- It was hosted in India, for the first time.
- Department of Ocean Engineering is coordinating the OCEANS 2022 conference, on behalf of the Marine Technology Society and Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Ocean Engineering Society.
- The theme of the “OCEANS 2022” conference was “inspire-innovate-sustain”.
