- The pan-India drive "Operation Mahila Suraksha" was launched to ensure women's security.
- The Railway protection Force arrested more than 7000 unauthorised travellers in coaches reserved for women.
- It also rescuing 150 girls/women from becoming victims of human trafficking during this month-long Operation.
