- India’s INS Sunayna participates in the annual training exercise Operation Southern Readiness of Combined Maritime Forces (CMF).
- CMF is a multi-national naval partnership.
- India is not a member country of CMF.
- India will participate as associate partner in these exercises.
- It is a capacity building exercises conducted by Combined Maritime Forces (CMF).
- The training exercise is being attended by delegations from USA, Italy, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and ship participation from UK, Spain and India.
