- The Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) Rajnish Kumar, Ministry of Defence, inaugurated the “Pay Roll Automation for Disbursement of Monthly Allowances” (PADMA).
- It is an automated Pay & Allowances module, launched for the Indian Coast Guard.
- This module has been developed under the Defense Accounts Department.
- The launch of PADMA is marked the start of Centralized Pay System (CPS).
