- Pakistan's government has acknowledged before the Islamabad High Court that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) is a foreign territory.
- The rare admission was made during the hearing of the abduction case of local Kashmiri poet and journalist Ahmed Farhad Shah.
- The Additional Attorney General said Kashmir is a foreign territory with its own constitution and its own courts.
- He further added that the judgements of Pakistani courts in PoK are considered judgements of foreign courts.
