- The number of domestic patent filing has surpassed the number of international patent filing during January-March 2022 for the first time in 11 year.
- A total of 19,796 patent applications were filed.
- Out of that, 10,706 (54%) were filed by Indian applicants as compared to 9,090 by non-Indian applicants.
