- Indian Railways has come up with an initiative called “Plan Bee” to prevent speeding trains from hitting elephants crossing tracks.
- The plan involves setting up of devices near tracks, which emit the ‘buzzing’ sound of swarming bees.
- Already “Plan Bee”, launched in November 2017 at Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR), has been got a great success.
