- The Union Cabinet approves Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN).
- It is a comprehensive effort to tackle challenges confronting Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
- Seventy-five communities spread across 18 states and the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been identified as Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
- It aims to implement 11 critical interventions through nine ministries, including the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
