- A government cannot discriminate against individuals simply because they do not belong to that state.
- The Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020 is to be violative of Part III of the Constitution.
- The Act reserved 75% of jobs in the private sector that offered a monthly salary of less than Rs 30,000 (originally Rs 50,000) for residents of Haryana.
