- IIT-Bombay launched its “Project Udaan” on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.
- It was launched with the aim of breaking the language barrier that many students face while joining the institutes of higher education.
- It enables the translation of textbooks and other study material of the engineering and other streams from English to Hindi & other Indian Languages.
- It is a donation based and Artificial Intelligence-based translation ecosystem.
