Quami Ekta Week – National Integration Week

  • It is also known as the Communal Unity Week in India.
  • It is celebrated from the 19th November to the 25th November.
  • The main theme of this week is ‘Secularism, Anti Communalism and Non-Violence’.
  • The National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Home Affairs, organises Communal Harmony Campaign along with the Quami Ekta Week and observes the Communal Harmony Flag Day on 25 November.
    • On the 19th of November, there is an Integration Day of the Nation.
    • On the 20th of November, there is a Minority of Welfare Day.
    • On the 21st of November, there is a Harmony Linguistic Day.
    • On the 22nd of November, there are Sections of the Weaker Day.
    • On the 23rd of November, there is a Unity of the Cultural Day.
    • On the 24th of November, there is a Women’s Day.
    • On the 25th of November, there is a Day of Conservation.
