Queen Elizabeth II passed away at Balmoral of Scotland at the age of 96.
She reigned the UK for 70 since 1952.
She is the World’s Oldest Monarch and the Longest Reigning Monarch of Britain.
In 2015, Queen Elizabeth became the longest-serving British monarch, surpassing her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria.
This year, she became the world’s second longest reigning monarch.
She is also Head of the Commonwealth and Supreme Governor of the Church of England.
Plans for the Queen’s death and the accession of Charles (73) to the British throne are code named Operation London Bridge and Operation Spring Tide respectively.
