- This forest comes under Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) across the border with Bhutan.
- Assam already has five national parks,
- Kaziranga National Park
- Manas National Park,
- Nameri National Park,
- Orang National Park and
- Dibru-Saikhowa National Park.
