- The Ministry of Home Affairs released the rankings of police stations for the year of 2018.
- The Kalu police station in Bikaner district of Rajasthan was ranked the best police station in the country.
- Campbell Bay police station in Nicobar district of Andaman & Nicobar Islands was ranked second.
- Periyakulam in Theni, Tamil Nadu, police station stands at 8th
- In 2017, R S Puram police station in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, was ranked as the best, followed by Panjagutta in Hyderabad and Gudamba in Lucknow.
