- A golden plate with Thirugnanasambandar song inscribes of Bhakti literature has been found in the Arulmigu Edaganathaswarar temple in Thiruvedagam, Madurai.
- This is located on the banks of river Vaigai in Madurai district.
- It is one of the first plates with an ancient inscription to be found in gold.
