- The Tamil Nadu state government has sanctioned Rs 19.93 crore to renovate the 157- year-old Kuthirai Vandi court building in Coimbatore.
- Three other heritage court buildings in Salem, Kancheepuram and Nagercoil are also getting renovation.
- The Public Works Department (PWD) would prepare raw materials such as limestone to carry out the restoration work.
