The independent expert group, which was led by former US treasury secretary Lawrence Summers and chair of the 15th Finance Commission NK Singh, submitted volume two of its report.
The report was titled ‘The Triple Agenda: A Roadmap for Better, Bolder and Bigger MDBs’.
Volume one of the reports, submitted to the G20 ministers in July, had recommended tripling the annual lending levels of MDBs to $390 billion by 2030.
The recommendations aim to enhance MDBs’ capabilities and optimize their functioning to drive global development priorities more efficiently.
Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) are institutions whose members include multiple developed and developing countries.
