- 2nd edition of the “Roorkee Water Conclave 2022” was inaugurated by the union minister for Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
- It is being organized jointly by IIT Roorkee and the National Institute of Hydrology.
- The Conclave 2022 would focus on understanding water security and its multiple facets supporting sustainable water resource management as a key component of social development.
- The conclave focuses on the theme of “Water Security for Sustainable Development”.
