- The 9th Edition of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Film Festival- 2019 was held at Colombo, Sri Lanka from July 2-7, 2019.
- It screened films from the SAARC Member states of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
- Bengali Movie Nagarkirtan won best feature film and its director Kaushik Ganguly won the best director award. India won a total of 6 awards.
