The covered areas include Pudukkottai, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Chennai, Karaikal, and Puducherry.
The first eight phases of ‘Sagar Parikrama’ covered 4,115 km in eight coastal states and union territories.
