- In Udhampur of Kashmir , 92 army men were awarded Sena medals at an investiture ceremony for their gallantry and distinguished services.
- In the event, 76 medals for gallantry services, 7 medals for distinguished services and 8 for Vishist Seva were presented to awardees.
- Lance Naik Nazir Ahmed Wani, a recipient of Ashok Chakra was also awarded with Bar to Sena Medal posthumously which was received by his wife.
