India defeated Bangladesh to win the fifth South East Asian Women Handball Championship at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow.
The Handball Federation of India, in collaboration with the South Asian Handball Federation, recently organised the 5th Women’s South East Asian Handball Championship.
Handball teams of five countries participated in the tournament and they are Bhutan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal and India.
While Nepal finished as runner-ups in the five-country tournament, Bangladesh settled for the third spot and a bronze medal.
