- Vietnam has inaugurated Southeast Asia’s largest solar power farm called ‘Dau Tieng Solar Power Complex’.
- It spread over 540 hectares in Tay Ninh province and having the capacity to generate 688 million kWh (kilowatt-hour) of electricity annually.
- This solar complex is constructed on the Dau Tieng Reservoir, the largest artificial lake in Vietnam.
- It will also avert the emission of 595,000 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year.
