- The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has announced Yousef Aldobeah of Saudi Arabia as a Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir.
- With this, the organization aims to interfere and resolve the India-Pakistan dispute over Kashmir.
- The decision was taken at the 14th Islamic Summit of the OIC Member States held at Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
- India has raised strong objections to it.
