- The Railways has operated its first-ever special parcel train to Bangladesh.
- It transported dry chillies from Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district to Bangladesh.
- Guntur and its surrounding areas in Andhra Pradesh are well known for the cultivation of chillies.
- Andhra Pradesh is the largest producer of Chilli in India and contributes about 26% to the total area under Chilli.
- The Guntur Sannam Chilli is a variety of Chilli which has the Geographical Indication (GI) Tag.
