- NASA is launching an ambitious new mission SPHEREx to map the entire sky in order to understand the origins of the universe.
- SPHEREx stands for Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization and Ices Explorer.
- This mission will be launched in 2023.
