- It is the inaugural State Educational Achievement Survey.
- It was to assess the learning competencies of students at the end of foundational, preparatory, and middle educational stages.
- It will be with a special focus on Language and Mathematics.
- It was organized by the Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development (PARAKH), the national assessment regulator.
- Notably, all states and Union Territories, with the exception of Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, and West Bengal, actively participated in the survey.
