- Monitor manning and functioning of the Central Ground Water Authority
- It comprises,
- Joint secretaries of Ministry of Environment and Forests and Ministry of Water Resources
- Central Ground Water Board
- National Institute of Hydrology (Roorkee)
- National Remote Sensing Centre and Central Pollution Control Board
